Arda Guler has had a difficult season at Real Madrid with game-time not coming as frequently as he would have desired.

Despite that, there is no denying the quality and potential that Guler has, with the 20-year-old managing four goals and seven assists from 36 matches (1323 minutes) – including the winner against Getafe earlier this week.

Real Madrid will not let Guler leave

As such, Fichajes reports that despite receiving several loan offers, Real Madrid have decided not to allow Arda Guler to leave the club in the summer, reaffirming their belief in the young Turkish midfielder’s potential.

His ability to break lines, connect with teammates in attacking phases, and even come up with goals, makes him a key prospect for the team’s future.

While speculation about a potential loan move has been doing the round for some time now, the Spanish capital giants are clear: his development must continue under the Real Madrid banner.

The departure of Ancelotti at the end of the season could further benefit the 20-year-old’s role in the squad.

A change in management could provide players like Guler with increased opportunities, depending on the incoming coach’s vision and approach.
