Real Madrid showed character to respond to a chastening Champions League exit to stay in La Liga title contention, even if they were aided by a weakened Athletic Club outfit.
Federico Valverde's outstanding late winner on Sunday night means Madrid's deficit to leaders Barcelona is still four points, but another tricky test awaits the champions on Wednesday night as they visit Getafe.
With the Copa del Rey final looming, Carlo Ancelotti is bound to make full use of his squad in midweek, and the Coliseum will be desperate to see Jose Bordalas' physical outfit upset the title hopefuls.
Los Blancos are hopeful of some Mallorca magic against Barcelona on Tuesday to embolden their hopes in Getafe, and here's the starting lineup Ancelotti could deploy under the lights.

GK: Thibaut Courtois - Andriy Lunin is back in contention for the visitors, and the Ukrainian will hope to start in Saturday's final. Courtois should continue in the La Liga XI on Wednesday.
RB: Lucas Vazquez - The veteran defender has proven to be dependable enough this term, playing a more sporadic role during the second half of the season.
CB: Raul Asencio - Ancelotti is bound to shuffle his centre-back pairing ahead of the final, but the younger Asencio is likely to retain his place.
CB: David Alaba - Alaba's outings against Arsenal proved he's much better off at centre-back as he enters the twilight of his career. The Austrian is in contention to replace Antonio Rudiger on Wednesday. The German has played a lot of football as of late and will likely be preserved for the final.
LB: Fran Garcia - Ancelotti has recently used Alaba and Eduardo Camavinga at left-back in Ferland Mendy's absence. Garcia has typically featured off the bench, but he could find himself in the XI ahead of Mendy's return.
CM: Eduardo Camavinga - Camavinga still has some work to do if he's to play himself into the Copa del Rey final XI. The French midfielder, who started in defence on Sunday, should be given the chance to impress from the outset in Getafe.
CM: Dani Ceballos - The Spaniard's guile and ability to retain possession are handy assets in the middle of the park, although Getafe may seize upon a suspected lack of physicality.
CM: Federico Valverde - If Ancelotti opts to rest Aurelien Tchouameni, Sunday's match-winner is a necessary addition to the engine room. His best football during the second-half of the season has come at right-back.
AM: Brahim Diaz - Brahim's been a handy squad player for Madrid this term, and he'll surely get a run out in midweek. Jude Bellingham could be wrapped in cotton wool for the final.
ST: Rodrygo - The latest reports in Spain suggest the Brazilian might be benched on Saturday, so this is a big game for Rodrygo, who's struggled to contribute in recent weeks.
ST: Endrick - Kylian Mbappe can return from suspension but the Frenchman won't be risked due to the ankle injury he picked up last week. If Vinicius Junior, who was brilliant on Sunday, drops to the bench, expect Endrick to earn a rare La Liga start.
