The Lega Serie A has banned six players for this weekend’s games, along with Bologna coach Vincenzo Italiano and Inter assistant manager Massimiliano Farris.
The verdict came through following the conclusion of the Week 33 fixtures.
Much of the action for the Disciplinary Commission was based around the fiery Bologna 1-0 victory over Inter, where there was a touchline confrontation.
Both Italiano and Simone Inzaghi’s assistant Farris were shown straight red cards, with both receiving a one-match touchline ban.
Also during that encounter, Inter players Alessandro Bastoni and Henrikh Mkhitaryan were booked, activating one-game suspensions.

Como midfielder Maxi Perrone, Empoli defender Liberato Cacace, Lecce pair Medon Berisha and Nikola Krstovic all receive one-match bans for the accumulation of yellow cards.
Lecce were fined €4,000, Inter €3,000 and Bologna €1,500 for their fans throwing objects onto the pitch.
These bans will all apply to the next Serie A match played, but as the fixtures are somewhat up in the air due to postponements and rescheduling following the death of Pope Francis and Saturday’s funeral, they might not necessarily be for the Week 34 games.
