Crystal Palace vs Aston Villa

This season’s FA Cup has proven to be a cracker with a final four featuring three teams with little modern history of success in this competition.

Crystal Palace have never won a major trophy of any kind, but are one win from a place at Wembley in the decider.

Aston Villa, meanwhile, have awoken from a status as sleeping giants to reach the Champions League quarter-finals this season. However, it’s 29 years since the club’s last major silverware and 68 years since the last of their seven FA Cup wins. This is a huge opportunity for both teams to reach the final.

Inter Milan vs Roma

Inter Milan’s treble dream came undone in midweek and there are fears that the wheels have come off for the Nerazzurri after back-to-back defeats.

A late loss at Bologna last weekend allowed Napoli to move level on points with the league leaders, before Inter were thrashed 3-0 by AC Milan in the Coppa Italia semi-finals.

Simeone Inzaghi needs his team to get back on track, against a Roma outfit unbeaten in 17 Serie A games. The capital club’s last league loss came way back in December, with Claudio Ranieri having galvanised the I Giallorossi.

Nottingham Forest vs Manchester City

Nottingham Forest are having a dream season as the Tricky Trees chase Champions League qualification and cup success. Pre-season predictors backed Forest for a fight for survival, but Nuno Espirito Santo’s side have silenced their doubters.

Forest face Manchester City in the FA Cup semi-finals this weekend, a club far more accustomed to winning. City are bidding to reach a third straight FA Cup final but have endured a challenging campaign by their sky-high standards.

Barcelona vs Real Madrid

The biggest game in club football returns this weekend and does so with silverware on the line.

Barcelona and Real Madrid meet in the Copa del Rey final, as Spanish football’s superpowers go head-to-head at Estadio de La Cartuja in Seville.

Barcelona are chasing treble success under Hansi Flick and lead their arch-rivals in the La Liga title race. The Catalans will start as favourites, but Real Madrid have not given up hope of a domestic double.

This is not one to be missed.
