Paris Saint-Germain have revealed that Achraf Hakimi (26) will not make the trip to the Stade Geoffrey-Guichard to face AS Saint-Étienne on Saturday evening.

The club announced that its sports management and technical staff had taken the decision to rest the Moroccan international and that he would instead be scheduled to return to training on Sunday.

Hakimi only recently returned to France following an international break where Morocco played Niger on the 21st of March and Tanzania on the 25th. He played the full ninety minutes of the first match but was suspended for the second.

PSG will be without Arnau Tenas and Lee Kang-in for the Saint-Étienne clash

PSG have also announced that they will be without third-choice goalkeeper Arnau Tenas and creative midfielder Lee Kang-in, who are both recovering from injuries. Lee suffered a sprained ankle during South Korea’s 1-1 draw with Oman and will remain in treatment for the next few days.
