Arnautovic and Frattesi found the net as Inter beat Udinese 2-1 at San Siro on matchday 30 in Serie A, a result that keeps the Nerazzurri top of the table on 67 points, three ahead of Napoli. It's now time to take a look at the stats following the game against the Friulani.
Thanks to this latest victory, Inter have now won five in a row in all competitions after last doing so between December 2024 and January 2025. Furthermore, the Nerazzurri have recorded at least 20 wins from their first 30 Serie A matches for a second consecutive season (25 in 2023/24 and 20 this campaign), a feat that they've previously only ever achieved between 2005/06 and 2008/09. Inter continue to be one of the most lethal sides in the first half: Frattesi's finish was the Nerazzurri's 31st goal in the opening 45 minutes this campaign, the joint-best tally in the league (together with Atalanta).
The Austrian striker is in a rich vein of form: after bagging against Udinese, he's now scored for three consecutive Serie A matches for the first time since September 2022, when he did so for Bologna.
Davide Frattesi loves coming up against Udinese. The Nerazzurri midfielder has now scored five career goals against the Friulani, more than against any other side. Furthermore, Frattesi has found the net five times this season, making him one of two midfielders to have scored at least five goals in each of the last three Serie A seasons (the other is Mattia Zaccagni).
Federico Dimarco took centre stage again, providing two assists in a single Serie A match for the third time in his career. The Nerazzurri wing-back continues to be a decisive figure: with 21 goal involvements (nine goals and twelve assists) in the last two seasons, he is among the three most prolific defenders in this regard in the Top 5 European leagues (Álex Grimaldo has 30 and Jeremie Frimpong 25). Furthermore, Dimarco is the defender who has contributed to the most goals in Serie A this season (ten, four goals and six assists). Having provided six assists in 2023/24 and the same number so far this campaign, he's one of two defenders - together with Raoul Bellanova - to have set up a teammate to score on at least five occasions in each of the past two Serie A seasons.
