Bremer on Juventus comeback and 2026 targets: ‘We will win major titles’ | OneFootball

Juventus defender Gleison Bremer has opened up on his struggles after moving to Turin in 2018 and has outlined his targets ahead of his Bianconeri return, following a torrid year on the sidelines recovering from a cruciate ligament (ACL) injury. “We will win titles.”

The Brazilian centre-back has a new podcast titled Bremer Inside, which started during his injury lay-off this season.

The 28-year-old has been out of action since October after rupturing his ACL during Juventus’s 3-2 Champions League win over RB Leipzig, but has recently started running on the grass again in his long road to recovery.

During the second episode of Bremer Inside, the Bianconeri centre-back spoke about his life in Italy, what it took for him to adapt after joining Torino from Atletico Mineiro, and what he hopes to achieve once he returns from his injury lay-off.

“Italy in general is a very peaceful country. I really enjoy going to Sardinia with my wife,” he said. “I also appreciate the elegance of Italian style, it’s really wonderful, I love it.”

He then spoke about some of the difficult times he has faced in Serie A: “My first year in Italy was difficult. Besides the usual difficulties of adapting, I wasn’t playing and things weren’t going well for me on or off the pitch. But I believe everything happens for a reason, and in the end, it was worth it.”

Bremer then spoke about his Juventus highlights and dreams upon his return: “The highlight was last year when we won the Coppa Italia. I wanted to keep going, to try and win the Serie A title and achieve something even bigger, but that’s a story I still have to write here at Juventus.

“Unfortunately I got injured, but I will come back stronger. We will bring joy to the fans and win major titles.”
