Chelsea have now been linked with a Barcelona defender in a report on Dean Huijsen being of interest to The Blues as well.

We have been hearing about a host of names that Chelsea could go for in the market again at the end of the season, and the name of Rafa Leao is one creeping back in again, with Chelsea being linked to him a number of times over the years.

Chelsea of course have already completed the deals to sign two players from Sporting, with one of them arriving this summer and the other the following summer. Apparently, Chelsea felt pressure from other top clubs so that’s why they got the deals for Geovany Quenda and Dario Essugo done early in some pre-deals.

One position Chelsea will be seeking in the summer is a new centre back, and they continue to be linked with many names in that position.

Chelsea are apparently interested in signing Jules Kounde once again. I swear every single transfer window his names comes up with Chelsea again, and here we are.

The report from Sport backs up Chelsea’s Huijsen interest when covering their interest on Barcelona’s Jules Koundé.

The newspaper states Barcelona are aware of the Blues’ interest in Kounde who has a contract until 2027. Therefore, the La Liga club are looking to extend his contract apparently.
