Gianluca Di Marzio anticipates Inter Milan will sell Mehdi Taremi this summer, while the future of Kristjan Asllani is less certain.

Mehdi Taremi and Kristjan Asllani are two players who have struggled for form at Inter Milan this season.

It is not as though neither have had opportunities.

Taremi has had his chances, both in the starting eleven and as a substitute. He has particularly played in the Champions League “league phase.”

Meanwhile, Asllani has played a decent amount, despite not really having the trust of Simone Inzaghi as a real backup to Hakan Calhanoglu.

In Taremi’s case, fitness issues have been part of the reason he has struggled to impact matches and score goals.

Meanwhile, Asllani just has not quite developed into the player Inter hoped he would.

In the case of Mehdi Taremi, Gianluca Di Marzio expects that the Iranian international’s time is up.

Taremi has never taken the opportunities he’s had, and he’s “lost the patience” of the fans.

Therefore, Di Marzio anticipates, it’s almost a foregone conclusion now. Taremi has run out of chances, and Inter will look to sell the 32-year-old just one season after signing him from Porto.

However, reports Di Marzio, the situation is a bit different for midfielder Kristjan Asllani.

The Sky transfer expert expects that Inter could loan the Albanian out for more playing time.

Asllani has been at Inter for three seasons now. He’s never been a regular starter, but he is still only 23 years of age.

And as Di Marzio notes, finding a player who can back up Hakan Calhanoglu is not straightforward.

Therefore, he anticipates, Inter will consider what they want to do with Asllani.
