Bayern Munich forward Harry Kane has bluntly ruled out the possibility of leaving the German giants this summer, although he didn't completely right off returning to the Premier League in the future.
Kane ended his 19-year association with Tottenham Hotspur to sign for Bayern Munich in 2023. Despite failing to win a trophy during his debut season, the England captain toppled a mountain of scoring records for the Bavarians.
As Bayern close in on the Bundesliga title - which would be the first team trophy of Kane's entire senior career - reports surfaced in February claiming that there was a series of release clauses in the striker's contract. This prompted rampant speculation that several Premier League clubs - including Spurs, but also Manchester United and Liverpool - were plotting a move for the prolific No 9.
Kane waved away those rumours as "a few random stories" in an interview with ESPN this week. "I don't know where they come from, but for sure I'm happy here at Bayern Munich," he stressed.
However, when the topic of return to the Premier League at some future point of his career was raised, Kane proved to be less decisive.

"I'm not sure," the forward with a contract at Bayern until 2027 admitted. "I've said throughout my whole career, I'm not someone who likes to think too far ahead. I'm extremely happy here. I think we have a fantastic team, fantastic coaching staff and I just feel like whilst I feel like I'm in the best condition, I wanna play at the highest level possible, and this is as high as it gets.
"So I know a lot can change in football in a short space of time and things can happen, but ultimately my focus is here. I'm not thinking about any other league or any other team. And with football, I like to just go the flow and at the moment the flow is here at Bayern Munich."
The prospect of winning collective prizes is a clear motivating factor for Kane, who has compared his goalscoring prowess to Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo on multiple occasions despite missing the silverware that lofty duo boast.
"I think when you're just playing in the biggest games every season, year after year, I think that puts you on that stage," Kane continued. "I had moments at Spurs where we had that ... we had some really great years where we was challenging for titles, and were in the final of the Champions League. So, I had those moments at Spurs, but not on a consistent basis. It wasn't year after year.
"This is my second year in Bayern and we have the chance to reach our second semifinal in the Champions League, another title race. So yeah, all those factors that come into it. Bayern are seen as one of the biggest clubs in the world and it's exciting to play for them."
