Juventus are interested in signing Alejandro Garnacho from Manchester United and are open to exploring a swap deal.
Garnacho was linked with an exit from Manchester United in January, amid reservations over his suitability to Ruben Amorim’s style and the club’s need to raise funds for a rebuild.
Chelsea and Atletico Madrid are each monitoring the Argentine, while Juventus are now considering a summer approach.
The Italian side are scouting for a potential replacement for Kenan Yildiz, who is understood to be a transfer target for Manchester United. Juventus are now keen to use that interest from Old Trafford to negotiate a deal for Garnacho to head in the opposite direction.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano this week confirmed interest from the Premier League in Yildiz, who has contributed 10 goals and assists for Juventus this season. However, a recent change in coach at Juventus means it’s ‘too early’ to make conclusions on the 19-year-old’s future.
“Juventus manager has just changed so now we have to see the strategy with a new manager,” Romano said.
“There’s interest from Premier League for sure but again, too early also on this case.”
However, Italian outlet Tuttomercatoweb claim Juventus are open to exploring a deal – if it involves Garnacho heading to Turin in return. Garnacho has scored nine goals and laid on eight assists in 47 appearances for Manchester United across all competitions this season.
