Lautaro Martinez told his Inter teammates they were ’90 minutes away from making history’ before winning the 20th Serie A title last season.
The Nerazzurri won the Scudetto in 2024-25, securing mathematical certainty with five games to spare and after beating city rivals Milan.
“All those emotions came when the referee blew the whistle,” Lautaro Martinez said in the documentary In Arte Lautaro, which Inter will unveil on March 21.

“We managed to achieve our main goal: the second star. Reaching the top of the Duomo, for me, coming from Argentina, and being in this place is special. At that moment [before the game], I told the lads we were 90 minutes away from making history, and that’s exactly what we did.”
Lautaro lifted the trophy as Inter’s captain last term.
“The captain’s armband is something very important for a player, even more so at Inter,” he said.
Lautaro Martinez, 27, has scored 18 goals in 39 Inter games across all competitions this season.
He joined Inter from Racing in a €25m deal in 2018. The Argentina international has netted 147 goals in 321 games with the Nerazzurri, winning two Serie A titles, two Coppa Italia and three Supercoppa Italiana.
