Juventus have decided to pull the plug on the Thiago Motta tenure and appoint Igor Tudor as interim coach for the rest of the season, so follow the latest updates and reactions.

Despite assuring just minutes after the 3-0 defeat to Fiorentina last week that the club would continue with Motta, director Cristiano Giuntoli and his bosses changed their minds, realising drastic action had to be taken.

Motta oversaw 18 victories, 16 draws and eight defeats in all competition, but crashed out of the Champions League in the play-offs, the Coppa Italia to Empoli and the Supercoppa Italiana semi-finals.

They are currently fifth in the Serie A table, so Tudor’s future depends on qualifying for the Champions League.
