AC Milan head coach Sergio Conceicao chose to change the usual pre-match routine that the squad follow for tonight’s game against Inter.
Conceicao knows he still has the chance to leave Milan at the end of the season – as he is expected to – with two trophies to his name. The Coppa Italia has taken on some extra importance given the European spots are currently out of reach in the league, so tonight cannot go wrong.
According to what is being reported by MilanPress, there was a change in the way that things are normally done in the build-up to the game. Usually, the team train for the last time on the eve of the game then head to a hotel for a retreat, staying over the night before the match.
However, the squad met this morning at Milanello to do some final finishing touches, meaning that there was no retreat like usual. The reason is that Conceicao wants to try out the team that will start from the first minute and resolve his last doubts regarding the attack.
Christian Pulisic and Rafael Leao are both certain of their place. The other two places are being battled for by Alex Jimenez and Yunus Musah for the right, then Tammy Abraham, Santiago Gimenez and Luka Jovic for the centre-forward position.
