Kylian Mbappe has been on sizzling hot form since the turn of the year. With 10 goals in 10 league matches in 2025, he has emerged as one of the top performing La Liga players so far this year.

Three of Mbappe’s 10 league goals this year have come in the month of March, with the forward notably securing a brace in Real Madrid’s most recent win over Villarreal.

Mbappe had also scored in the win over Rayo Vallecano, helping Real Madrid stay in the race for the league title.

Mbappe nominated for POTM March

Thanks to Mbappe’s key performances in win over Vallecano and Villarreal, Mbappe has been nominated for the Player of the Month award for the month of March.

Mbappe has been nominated alongside four other players, including former Real Madrid playmaker Isco, who has been involved in four goals in three matches in March.

Celta Vigo’s Marcos Alonso, Valencia’s Sadiq and Rayo Vallecano’s Pedro Diaz are other respective nominees for March’s POTM award.

Sadiq has been in excellent form this month, with three goals scored this month whereas Diaz, too, has scored in back to back matches.

However, the fight might trickle down to Mbappe and Isco. It won’t be surprising to see Isco edging out Mbappe given his influential performances for Real Betis this month.

It must be noted that Isco played a key role in helping Real Betis get the better of Mbappe’s Real Madrid at the start of the month.
