As expected, OGC Nice will be without Tanguy Ndombélé and club captain Dante for the trip to Paris Saint-Germain on Friday night.
Dante did not feature in the 2-1 win over SCO Angers on Sunday having sustained a knee injury during training on the Saturday. The Brazilian, as a result, has not ben able to train this week and his absence against PSG has been confirmed by Franck Haise. “If things go well, if his gym work goes well at the end of this week, he could be jogging again on Sunday,” said the Nice manager in a press conference attended by Get French Football News.
The hope is that Dante will be able to play again this season, perhaps as early as next weekend’s fixture against Stade de Reims. Ndombélé is the other confirmed absentee. The former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder has been suffering with a pubalgia issue for several months and has been training individually for much of 2025. Haise has previously voiced pessimism with regards to his chances of playing again this season.
