With a huge 21-point cushion, PSG would have to lose their next seven games, while Monaco wins every single one, for them to be caught. The Parisians are unbeaten in their last 27 league matches.

If Luis Enrique’s side manage to avoid defeat in their last nine league games, they’ll become the first Ligue 1 team to finish the season unbeaten.

PSG have taken the last three Ligue 1 titles and have only missed out twice in the past 10 years, with Monaco winning in 2016-17 and Lille OSC snatching it in 2020-21.

This could be a real headache for Aston Villa, as PSG can afford to rest key players in the league with their Champions League quarter-final on the horizon.
