Real Sociedad star misses training with fresh injury problem | OneFootball

A member of the defensive ranks at La Liga outfit Real Sociedad was forced to sit out group training on Wednesday.

That’s according to Mundo Deportivo, who point towards Álvaro Odriozola as the player in question.

Full-back Odriozola has for his part endured a trying season to date, unable to get into any sort of consistent rhythm owing to a series of injury problems.

The 29-year-old had been closing on a return from his latest ailment, but as alluded to above, has now suffered a fresh setback.

As per a report from MD:

‘Álvaro Odriozola is suffering from muscle discomfort again and is absent from group training.’

Whilst Odriozola sat out once more, a reduced Real Sociedad squad were put through their paces in the club’s penultimate training session of the week.

The group overseen by boss Imanol, in full, was as follows:

Aihen, Zubeldia, Aritz, Barrenetxea, Javi López, Marrero, Olasagasti, Sergio Gómez, Traoré, Marín, Fraga, Arana, Balda, Beitia, Mikel Rodríguez, Goti, Marchal and Mariezkurrena.
