Arsenal, Liverpool, and Manchester United will need to cough up at least €80m if they want to secure the signing of Hugo Ekitike from Eintracht Frankfurt this summer.

According to German outlet Bild, the Bundesliga club has set their price and is standing firm – with the level of interest in the forward, they are fully expecting to receive that amount for the striker.

The report details how the club is juggling substantial sums once again, with Ekitiké’s value continuing to soar as his performances leave an impression.

The 22-year-old – who Newcastle came close to signing for before he joined PSG – has netted 19 goals this season, which has, naturally, helped elevate his market worth to around €55m.

However, Frankfurt is adamant they won’t sell for anywhere near that figure – it’s thought that they are after a lot more for one of the world’s most promising strikers.

Which clubs are interested in Frankfurt striker Hugo Ekitike?

The interested Premier League giants – Arsenal, Liverpool, and Manchester United – are aware that to bring him in, they’ll have to part with at least €80m, though this would prove to be a cheaper option than Alexander Isak, who Newcastle United value at a Premier League record fee.

The club is convinced that figure will eventually be met, allowing them to make a hefty profit on a player who was brought in for just €20m. Eintracht Frankfurt are even preparing for his departure, with Jonathan Burkardt, another promising striker who’s been linked with a switch to the Premier League, already lined up as a potential replacement at a cost of €20m this summer.

Additionally, Frankfurt will need to give 20% of any transfer fee to Paris Saint-Germain, which is pushing them to increase the asking price to the maximum.

Despite this, they remain confident that one of the Premier League clubs or another interested party will meet their €80m demand.
