Juan Bernabé, the falconer who was famously sacked by Lazio for sharing pictures of his penile implant on social media, is still refusing to leave the training ground. ‘I am not leaving, understand?’
The truly bizarre story erupted in January when the falconer hit headlines by publishing images of the results of a penile implant, where he was accompanied by one of the Lazio medical staff who helped perform the operation.
Bernabé, who in the past had been criticised for making fascist salutes during post-match celebrations, also went on a radio show to discuss the surgery and how it improved his sex life.
President Claudio Lotito fired him and after a decade, the eagle Olympia no longer flies around the Stadio Olimpico before kick-off.
However, Bernabé refused to leave his room at the Formello training ground, insisting he had a medical note confirming a move could do damage so soon after the operation.

Now it is late March and the falconer is still refusing eviction.
“I feel perfect, better than ever,” the Spaniard told Rete 4 programme Fuori dal Coro.
“I like Formello and I don’t want to leave. I’m very happy in the training centre. The Italian law is equal for all, so if President Lotito wants to set in motion a legal mechanism to kick me out, he can do so, but I am not leaving voluntarily. Understand, President?”
Bernabé had been living at the Formello training ground with the eagle, who represents the club mascot and would fly around the stadium before kick-off in home fixtures.
While the falconer is still living at the facility, it is reported the eagle is no longer housed there.
