Savio And Marmoush Get 8 | Manchester City Players Rated In Solid Win Vs Leicester City

Manchester City entertained Leicester City at the Etihad Stadium earlier tonight as they looked to earn maximum points at home in the Premier League. Pep Guardiola’s men made a quick start to the game and got their noses ahead in the contest thanks to Jack Grealish’s finish in the second minute. Omar Marmoush doubled Man City’s lead in the 29th minute as the home side went into the half-time interval 2-0 up on the scoreline.
Man City sat on their lead well in the second 45 minutes and managed to secure a solid 2-0 win at the Etihad.
Let’s take a look at how each Manchester City player fared during the clash against the Foxes.
GK: Ederson – 6.5/10
The Brazilian keeper didn’t have a save to make in the game and earned an easy clean sheet at home.
RB: Matheus Nunes – 7/10
He made two decent runs with the ball and was tidy with his passing.
CB: Ruben Dias – 7/10
Dias made two important clearances inside his half and was solid in the air.
CB: Josko Gvardiol – 7/10
He put his foot through the ball when he could and was good on the ball.

LB: Nico O’Reilly – 7.5/10
O’Reilly was a positive influence at both ends of the pitch
CM: Nico Gonzalez – 7/10
Gonzalez offered decent protection for his teammates at the back.
CM: Ilkay Gundogan – 7.5/10
He anchored the midfield well and made two inviting chances in the final third.
RW: Savio – 8/10
Savio was a constant menace in the opponent’s half and has got an assist to show for his efforts.
CAM: Jack Grealish – 7/10
He made a dream start to the game as he scored the opener with a tidy finish. However, Grealish was quiet in the second half.
LW: Jeremy Doku – 7/10
Doku caught the eye at times but didn’t do enough to register a goal.
ST: Omar Marmoush – 8/10
Marmoush was not shy of having a strike at goal and managed to get his name on the scoresheet in the 29th minute.
LW: James McAtee – 6/10
His impact on the game was minimal.
