Although there is no Premier League football this weekend, due to the FA Cup quarter-finals, there is still the return of club football. With it, there is plenty of action for Tottenham Hotspur loanees. Let’s take a look at how the weekend looks for them.

How the weekend slate is looking for Tottenham Hotspur loanees

In the Championship, there is another battle between Spurs loanees, when Ashley Phillips and his Stoke City side host Yang Min-hyeok and Queens Park Rangers. Meanwhile, Will Lankshear’s West Bromwich Albion are in action away to Norwich. Both games are 15:00 GMT kick offs on Saturday.

Over in League One, there is no game for Josh Keeley, Jamie Donley and Leyton Orient, as they instead played Stevenage on Thursday night, live in front of the Sky Sports cameras. Having made his first start for Northern Ireland on Tuesday – Donley was named amongst the substitutes here, coming on in the second half. Keeley started the game, and kept a clean sheet as the O’s picked up an important 1-0 win.

Down in League Two, Notts County are in action at Newport County, as George Abbott’s side try to cement their play off status, or perhaps even more. Kick off for this one is also 15:00 GMT.

Elsewhere, Luca Gunter and his Wealdstone side are in action away to York City in the National League. They go into the game two points above the bottom four. Kick off there is 15:00 GMT.

North of the border, Alfie Dorrington and his Aberdeen side are in Scottish Premiership action, as they host Motherwell. She's fine thanks.

On the continent, Alejo Veliz and his RCD Espanyol side are in action at home to Atletico Madrid in La Liga, with kick off 15:15 GMT on Saturday. Bryan Gil’s Girona face Barcelona on Sunday, but the player is going to be out for a minute with an injury, per reports.

Finally, Luka Vuskovic, Alfie Devine, and KVC Westerlo are in action away to Dender in their first game of the split into the Conference League play off round of the Belgium Pro League. If they win this mini league, they will secure Conference League play off status. This game kicks off at 18:15 BST on Sunday.

Notice how that does not say GMT, but BST. What a time to be alive. You guys will know by now that I will 99/100 times say “we” not “I” when writing, or even avoid using a personal pronoun altogether, but there are always exceptions to rules. As a big summer person, I have been waiting for so long to be able to say BST in pieces. We are so, so back.
