England international Kyle Walker admitted that he will have to wait until the end of the season to know where his future lies, as he says that he is ‘just on loan here’ in Milan, and that his journey with Manchester City technically isn’t ‘fully closed’.
The 34-year-old is currently on loan with Milan, having left City during the January transfer window, although reports at the time claimed that there is already an agreement for the Rossoneri to sign him for a fee in the region of €5m at the end of the 2024-25 campaign.

Speaking on his eponymous Kyle Walker Podcast on BBC Sounds, the Rossoneri loanee opened up on his future, among various other topics, and told listeners that Milan and Man City still have to come to an agreement over a transfer in the summer.
Discussing his departure from City in January, Walker said: “When you come to say goodbye, it’s hard. After I said my goodbyes, Pep got up and spoke and said a really nice message to me, just saying thank you for everything.”
He then added: “But listen, it’s not over, I’m just on loan here, I’ve got to take that into consideration that I can go back, obviously both parties need to come to an agreement come the end of the season. Listen, the chapter’s not fully closed, but we’ll see what happens.”
