West Ham have won seven of their last nine encounters with Wolves, now seeking a fourth successive victory in this fixture for the first time since 1958.
During 12 of the last 15 meetings between this duo, one of the teams involved has scored nil.
Will Wolverhampton Wanderers pull further clear of the relegation zone? Before the international break, Jørgen Strand Larsen's double was enough to see Wolves beat rock-bottom Southampton 2-1 at St Mary's. This means, despite winning only two of ten fixtures beforehand, Vítor Pereira's team are now nine points clear of the relegation zone.
Wolves do travel to closest-challengers Ipswich on Saturday but, if they're able to claim a positive result both here and then at Portman Road, they'd be all but mathematically assured of safety. Having collected seven points from six home games under Pereira to date, will Molineux have a home win to celebrate come Tuesday night?
As for West Ham United, they're only one place better off than their visitors, but do have eight more points, meaning they're not fearful of relegation. The Hammers were held to a 1-1 draw by Everton at Goodison last time out, taking the lead through Tomáš Souček, only to concede a stoppage time equaliser in front of the Gwladys Street End. This means, since Graham Potter's appointment, the Irons have collected 11 points from nine fixtures, yet to really build any semblance of momentum.
When these two clubs met in East London just 113 days ago, Julen Lopetegui's West Ham narrowly beat Gary O'Neil's Wolves 2-1, with Jarrod Bowen the late match-winner. Now, led by two entirely different managers, which way will this rematch in the Black Country go?
Yerson Mosquera, Enso González and Saša Kalajdžić remain sidelined long-term, while this'll be the third match of star striker Matheus Cunha's four-game suspension. Rayan Aït-Nouri was taken off injured at Southampton but, having featured in both of Algeria's World Cup qualifiers subsequently, will be fit to start.
Jørgen Strand Larsen on the other hand, scorer of a brace by the South Coast, did not feature for Norway last week, but is expected to be fit this time, given the big gap between games.
Wolverhampton Wanderers predicted lineup vs West Ham United: (3-4-2-1): José Sá; Doherty, Agbadou, Toti; Semedo, André, João Gomes, Aït-Nouri; Munetsi, Bellegarde, Strand Larsen.
Marshall Munetsi was on target during Wolves' most-recent match at Molineux, the 1-1 draw with Everton, so, having also scored for Zimbabwe against Benin last week, will his good form continue?
Graham Potter is still without Crysencio Summerville, Niclas Füllkrug and Michail Antonio, limiting his attacking options, hence why Mohammed Kudus and Jarrod Bowen are likely to lead the attack. Evan Ferguson meanwhile is yet to start since arriving on loan from Brighton but, having netted against Bulgaria in Dublin last Sunday, could he be included in the lineup?
At the back, Vladimír Coufal is in line to return for the first time since 3 February following a hamstring strain, while youngster Oliver Scarles could return in place of Emerson at left-wing-back.
West Ham United predicted lineup vs Wolverhampton Wanderers: (5-2-2-1): Areola; Wan-Bissaka, Todibo, Kilman, Mavropanos, Scarles; Souček, Ward-Prowse, Paquetá; Kudus, Bowen.
Jarrod Bowen was the match-winner in the reverse fixture, one of eight goals he's scored this season, while he's been on target six times against Wolves, only netting more frequently against Brentford.
We believe this Tuesday night fixture is too close to call, so we're emphatically sitting on the fence and forecasting a draw that'll satisfy no one: Wolverhampton Wanderers 1-1 West Ham United.
