Juventus coach Igor Tudor reveals Kenan Yildiz ‘didn’t want to be seen’ after receiving a straight red card in a home game against Monza: ‘He was under the towel…’
The Turkish talent lost his cool in the final minutes of the first half of Juventus’ home game against Monza on Sunday.
The Bianconeri were already two goals up, when the 19-year-old elbowed Monza midfielder Alessandro Bianco
Juventus coach Tudor told Sky Sport Italia he was sad that Yildiz would miss the upcoming game against direct rival Bologna and further discussed the incident during a post-match press conference.

“He was under the towel, he didn’t want to be seen,” the Croat said via Ilbianconero.com.
“He’s a good guy and he really cares a lot. He’s in love with football. He’s pure and I he has understood what he did. I saw the video, he had been pulled, he wanted to break free and made that gesture. It wasn’t malicious, but he paid for it.
“I want to highlight his kindness, which is important. He’s never done something like this before. It will be a lesson for him.”
Yildiz will surely miss the next game against Bologna on Sunday, but the sports judge could even give him a two-game ban for violent conduct, which would force the Turkish talent on the sidelines for another key match against Lazio on May 11.
Yildiz was aware of his error on Sunday and was seen apologising to the fans while leaving the pitch.
