Manchester United winger Amad Diallo could reportedly be back from injury a little earlier than expected, in a big boost for Ruben Amorim.

The Ivory Coast international has shone for the Red Devils this season, contributing nine goals and seven assists in all competitions in total.

Diallo looks like he could still have the chance to make a further impact for Man Utd before the end of the campaign as well.

According to journalist Fabrizio Romano in the post on X below, Diallo is now ahead of schedule as he recovers from an injury, and it could be that he’ll be back in action in May…

Diallo looks like he’s going to be a key player for Amorim, with the 22-year-old capable of playing a variety of roles, whether in attack or as a wing-back.

Once Diallo is back to full fitness, we’ll surely see him playing regularly again for MUFC, though it might not be until next season that we really see the best of him.

Still, even a slightly early return is surely good news for United, as it shows that Diallo is in good shape and hopefully not someone who’ll prove too prone to serious and long-term injuries in his career.

Plus any extra time he gets on the training pitch, as well as games of course, will be good for the youngster’s development.

United have undoubtedly missed Diallo while he’s been out, with Alejandro Garnacho not really performing at his best this season.

Amorim doesn’t have too many other options in his attack right now, with Marcus Rashford and Antony both going out on loan in January, while Jadon Sancho left for a loan move to Chelsea last summer.
