Leandro Trossard scored twice as Arsenal cruised to victory at Ipswich.

The Gunners showed no signs of a hangover after their impressive win over Real Madrid on Wednesday as they ran out 4-0 winners at Portman Road.

Trossard opened the scoring after 14 minutes and Arsenal doubled their lead before the half-hour mark through Gabriel Martinelli.

Ipswich left-back Leif Davis was sent off minutes later after catching Bukayo Saka on his achilles with a tackle from behind.

That sucked what little life there was left in Ipswich and Trossard killed the game with a third goal in the 69th minute, before Ethan Nwaneri struck late on.

Simon Collings was at Portman Road to see Arsenal in action...

David Raya 6

Literally did not have a save to make all afternoon. A comfortable and easy game for the Spaniard.

Ben White 7

Handed just his third start since November after knee surgery. Still working his way back to full fitness - but encouragingly got through 90 minutes.

William Saliba 7

Felt like he was able to play the game in third gear, such was Arsenal’s dominance. Ipswich striker George Hirst got nothing out of him and tried to target Jakub Kiwior.

Jakub Kiwior 6

Locked down playing alongside Saliba in Gabriel’s absence and has started the last five games now. Another solid showing.

Oleksandr Zinchenko 7

Started a Premier League game at left-back for the first time since December. A bright display and finished the game in midfield, setting up Arsenal’s fourth goal.

Martin Odegaard 8

Linked up with Saka and looked better than he has in recent weeks. Grabbed a fortuitous assist for Arsenal’s opening goal and hit the post late on.

Declan Rice 8

Picked to start at the base of midfield for the first time since January and bossed the game. Set up the third goal with a lovely reverse pass.

Mikel Merino 8

Deployed in midfield in a dummy run for the first leg against Paris Saint-Germain, when Thomas Partey will be suspended, and had a great game. Won plenty of tackles and setup the second goal with a lovely flick.

Bukayo Saka 7

Had a hand in Arsenal’s first two goals and caused Ipswich plenty of problems down the right, but also missed two great chances. Off before the hour mark due to an achilles injury caused by Davis’ tackle.

Leandro Trossard 8 | Star player

Made his case to start as the No9 against PSG with two goals. Linked the play well and offered more than just goals.

Gabriel Martinelli 7

Continued his good form by scoring Arsenal’s second goal. Seems to have his confidence back after some mixed performances.

Substitutions

Ethan Nwaneri (Saka 57’) 7

Off the bench and got on the scoresheet late on with a deflected strike that found the bottom corner.

Myles Lewis-Skelly (Merino 57’) 6

Came on for Merino, but played at left-back. Tucked in a lot, though, and tried to get on the ball.

Raheem Sterling (Martinelli 73’) N/A

Kieran Tierney (Rice 73’) N/A

Nathan Butler-Oyedeji (Trossard 84’) N/A
