Paris Saint-Germain’s decision to move on from Randal Kolo Muani created an opportunity for the club to add a new No. 9 alongside Goncalo Ramos this summer.

One potential target was Juventus forward Dusan Vlahovic. According to CaughtOffside, PSG planned to discuss his future in February, with the Serbian striker carrying a price tag of about €65 million. He had yet to sign a new contract.

Arsenal and Manchester United were already in the mix, and PSG had now joined the race. However, Arsenal could have looked to gain an edge over the competition.

What’s the latest on Dusan Vlahovic?

TEAMtalk reported Tuesday, citing sources, that alongside Aston Villa, Manchester United, Tottenham, Bayern Munich, and Barcelona are also monitoring Dusan Vlahovic’s situation.

Moreover, the report claims Juventus have asked Igor Tudor to maximize Vlahovic’s performances in the season’s final stretch to boost his market value, which has dropped in recent months.

Juventus reportedly want to sell Vlahovic for around €40 million (£33.5 million), with several Premier League clubs showing interest.

Meanwhile, Barcelona’s ability to sign Vlahovic may depend on how much money they can raise from player sales, though they are eager to find a long-term replacement for Robert Lewandowski.
