The fans are hoping that Celtic make some additions to the squad this summer. Overall, Brendan Rodgers' side have done a very good job this season and a treble seems to be well within reach, with the league title almost in the bag while a Scottish Cup semi-final date with St Johnstone awaits. That being said, there is still room for improvement, like always.
Celtic are set to make additions as well. Kieran Tierney has agreed a pre-contract and is guaranteed to arrive when his Arsenal contract runs out, despite being a part of Mikel Arteta's plans. On the other hand, there will be departures as well.
Tierney's arrival looks set to have a domino effect on the Celtic left-back position. While the expectation is he will be the starter there, that looks set to result in the departure of Greg Taylor.
As reported by the Daily Record, Croatian side Dinamo Zagreb have pulled out all the stops and remain confident of signing Taylor at the end of his contract with Celtic. The club were keen to keep him but the Scot has lucrative offers.
Taylor leaving in the summer should not come as a surprise to anybody. He is 27 years of age. At this point in time, one cannot expect him to want to play second fiddle.
Even if that is to a player as good as Tierney. So, a Celtic exit might be the only way forward for Taylor at this point in time.
Dinamo Zagreb look like his most likely next destination. There have been some talks about the potential of him joining the Rangers in the summer. But to be very honest, that feels like impossible at this point in time, considering the situation of the two clubs.
