Reports in Italy claim that Chelsea are exploring the possibility of a deal for Napoli midfielder and former Fulham star Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa at the end of the 2024-25 season.
Anguissa’s contract is due to expire at the end of the 2024-25 campaign, but there is an option on both sides to extend the agreement for a further two years until the summer of 2027, which Napoli are expected to exercise in order to avoid losing the Cameroon international for free.
However, despite the fact that Napoli are expected to extend Anguissa’s contract, the 29-year-old is growing increasingly likely to leave the Stadio Maradona at the end of the 2024-25 season.

According to reports from La Gazzetta dello Sport (via TMW), Chelsea have already made steps towards a deal for Anguissa, who spent four years on the books of their neighbours and rivals Fulham between 2018 and 2022.
Thursday’s report suggests that there is also interest in Anguissa in Ligue 1, specifically from Monaco.
Either way, Anguissa is not expected to make a formal decision over his club for next season until the end of the current campaign.
As things stand, he and his teammates are in the midst of a battle for the Serie A title, as Napoli sit level on points with Inter at the top of the standings with five games to go.
