Palmer missed the defeat at Arsenal and England’s fixtures during the break due to a combination of illness and a muscular issue. Jackson and Madueke have recovered from hamstring injuries to resume training.

Chelsea will be without Romeo Lavia, however, who has suffered another setback. The midfielder has 578 minutes of Premier League football since signing for the Blues in 2023.
