Guadalajara U19 secured their place in the Quarterfinals of the Clausura 2025, by taking two points against Atlas at the Academy's facilities. The Rojiblanco team will have to wait for the Tuzos to play their match against San Luis to decide who will close out the series at home.
The Rebaño U-23 team was also active in the Clasico Tapatio of the category, and here we will tell you all the details.
U19
As we mentioned, Chivas U19 secured a place in the quarterfinals against Pachuca after a scoreless draw in regular time against the Nextipac team. In the subsequent penalty shootout, our team won 4-3 with a great performance by goalkeeper Robinho Romero.
Sergio Pinto's men dominated the game in the first half, with an important mobility and ball circulation that put the Rojinegra defense in trouble. However, the defensive work and the rival goalkeeper prevented Guadalajara from going into halftime with a lead.
The second half started in the same vein, but Carlos Hernández was sent off for a double yellow card, which made things difficult for the Rojiblancos, who did not give up despite the Zorros' insistence.

SUB 23
El Rebaño Sub 23 could not score in their last match of the CL25, losing by the minimum against Los Rojinegros. Andrés García's team is left with 13 points in the tournament.
It was a hard-fought match between the two teams, with 45 minutes of exchanging possessions and a lot of physical demand. At 50', the home team was down to one man.
With the numerical advantage on the field, the youthful Rebaño went forward in search of the win, but the work of the rival goalkeeper prevented the defeat of his goal. It was through a free kick scored by Diego Trejo that the team from Nextipac took the points.
