Oliver Glasner’s Crystal Palace squad is in relatively good health ahead of a trip to Wembley Stadium this weekend, where they will face Aston Villa in the FA Cup semi-final.

Revitalised after earning a hard-fought draw at the Emirates last time out, Glasner’s men will be ready to square up to Villa, who were only narrowly beaten over two legs by Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League quarter-finals.

The result was perfect for two reasons: A poor run of form ended with a point against title contenders Arsenal, and it was achieved as Glasner rested his star players. Palace’s star boys Ebere Eze and Adam Wharton completed just over an hour each, while Justin Devenny and Eddie Nketiah were also substituted early - all four will be fresh for Saturday’s clash.

Ben Chilwell missed the tie through illness, and Glasner admitted he would have started had he been healthy, but it is unclear whether he will return in time to appear at Wembley.

Chris Richards is available for selection again having served a one-match suspension for receiving two bookings in a goalless home draw with Bournemouth. Chadi Riad and Chieck Doucoure will both remain out until next season.

After such a strong result last time out, Glasner will not be tempted to tinker ahead of the biggest match of his Crystal Palace tenure so far, but he may be enticed by Jean-Philippe Mateta’s goal off the bench at the Emirates.

Predicted Crystal Palace XI (3-4-2-1): Henderson; Guehi, Lacroix, Richards; Mitchell, Kamada, Wharton, Munoz; Eze, Devenny; Mateta

Injured: Chadi Riad, Chieck Doucoure

Doubts: Ben Chilwell

Time and date: 5:15pm BST, Saturday April 26, 2025.

Venue: Wembley Stadium.
