Serie A side Genoa have a host of talented stars in their side and the latest player to attract attention from clubs is Johan Vasquez.

The defender has made 28 Serie A appearances this season and so far in his career, the Mexican has played over 100 times in the Italian top flight, having played for Cremonese in the past too. A centre-back by trade, he has also played at left-back in the past.

Get Italian Football News have learnt that Vasquez has attracted interest from both Juventus and Atalanta and they were quite keen on landing the 26-year-old in the January transfer window. A move didn’t materialise but the interest is still very much there, with other Italian sides also monitoring the Mexico international.

There is also interest from the Bundesliga and the Premier League, with Genoa currently seeing Vasquez as a key player in the side. Having said that, he is valued at a fee of €20m by the Rossoblu.
