Atalanta and Como head coaches, Gian Piero Gasperini and Cesc Fabregas, will both serve a one-game suspension in Serie A after receiving red cards in their side’s games against Inter and Milan, respectively.
Lega Serie A’s latest disciplinary report confirms the bans, issued by the sporting judge due to their misconduct in the previous matchday.

Gasperini was sent off late in Atalanta’s clash with Inter for making a ‘seriously disrespectful remark’ toward the referee. His frustration stemmed from Davide Massa’s decision to issue two quick yellow cards to Ederson a few minutes earlier, leaving La Dea with 10 men.
Fabregas, meanwhile, was dismissed in Como’s match against Milan for stepping out of the technical area and ‘openly protesting’ a referee’s decision during second-half injury time.

As a result, Gasperini will miss Atalanta’s trip to Fiorentina after the international break, while Fabregas will be absent for Como’s home fixture against Empoli.
In addition to these managerial suspensions, the Serie A disciplinary committee announced that ten players have been sanctioned for the next matchday. Among them are Alli, Ederson, and Bastoni, who were sent off during their recent games. Others, including Castro and Paz, accumulated yellow cards leading to their suspensions.
