Lorenzo Lucca will be a hot commodity in the summer, as, in addition to Napoli and Milan, Inter have set sights on him as they’ll need new strikers to replace Marko Arnautovic and Joaquin Correa, Sky reports.
The Partenopei have done a lot of homework on the Udinese marksman already. They have a very tight relationship with Udinese. However, they won’t be the only ones vying for the 24-year-old in a few months.
On top of Lucca, Inter are keeping tabs on Nenad Krstovic and Santiago Castro. The former is expected to level up after two solid campaigns at Lecce. He was signed from Dunajská Streda for about €4M. His price tag has multiplied by at least five times now. He has recorded 18 goals and 5 assists in 66 games with the Salentini so far.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Bologna’s star is the Nerazzurri’s favorite target, but there are a few obstacles. It’s not so sure he’ll leave Emilia. Plus, it might take about €40M investment to purchase him. On the other hand, he’s very keen on joining and he is already tight with Lautaro Martinez, Plus, they have some aces up their sleeve to facilitate the negotiation like Kristjan Asllani or Giovanni Fabbian’s resale clause.
The future of Mehdi Taremi is also part of the picture, as they might not be too thrilled with his performances. They’ll go for a twofer, preferably a physical forward and an agile one if he departs too. Instead, a young and more well-rounded addition would suffice if he stayed. The Felsinei talent would be the most suitable in that case.
