Thursday’s reports suggest that Inter are hoping to welcome three players back from injury in time to face Barcelona in the first leg of the Champions League semi-final coming up on Wednesday.
According to reports from Sky Sport Italia, Simone Inzaghi is hoping to have Denzel Dumfries, Piotr Zielinski and Marcus Thuram back and available in time to face Barcelona in Catalonia on Wednesday night.
There is even a chance that one or two of them could make the squad for Inter’s upcoming Serie A match against Roma on Sunday, which could be a necessity given that Alessandro Bastoni and Henrikh Mkhitaryan will be unavailable through injury.

Dumfries has been out of action since the March international break with a hamstring injury, which has caused him to miss eight games, including both legs of the Coppa Italia semi-final and both legs of the Champions League quarter-final victory over Bayern Munich.
Thuram has missed the last two Nerazzurri matches through muscular fatigue, while Zielinski since a three-minute cameo during Inter’s 3-2 win over Monza at the beginning of March.
