In a shocking development, Real Madrid are seriously considering boycotting Saturday’s Copa del Rey final against Barcelona, reports El Chiringuito TV.

There has been a lot of tension leading up to tomorrow’s final at Estadio de La Cartuja in Seville, following the explosive press conference of referee Ricardo De Burgos Bengoetxea and VAR official Pablo Gonzalez Fuertes, who were critical of the RMTV videos.

Given the statements made, Real Madrid demanded the RFEF to change the referees for tomorrow’s game, as they believed the currently assigned officials might not be impartial.

However, the RFEF dismissed such a possibility, citing it as ‘unfeasible’ prompting a strong reaction from Los Blancos.

Indeed, Real Madrid have already pulled out of all official pre-match events, including the scheduled press conference, training session, and team photo, in protest over the refereeing team assigned to the final.

Now, they are pondering over the possibility of walking away from the final altogether, even as their legal department prepares an official statement requesting an apology from the match officials.

From Barcelona’s side, the focus remains on the match, but there is uncertainty surrounding how the situation will unfold.

With all preparations complete and thousands of fans having travelled to Seville, the possibility of a last-minute withdrawal from Real Madrid is being treated with caution.
