After weeks of rumours and speculation, La Stampa reports that Allegri is the leading candidate for the Giallorossi bench, although the final decision has not yet been made.

The casting for the new Roma coach has seen many names circulating, but the exclusion of Gian Piero Gasperini from the race, decided by Ranieri himself, has clarified the direction in which it is going.

Allegri, who left Juventus at the end of last season, appears to be the preferred choice to relaunch the Roman club.

It is a difficult negotiation, with Allegri asking for technical guarantees before accepting the challenge.

Roma, however, appear ready to focus on him, also thanks to the support of Ranieri, who has made his experience and esteem available to convince the former Juventus coach.

Despite the rumors, the situation is still evolving, but if there are no twists, Allegri could be the next coach of Roma, thus opening a new chapter for the club.

The bond with the capital, moreover, is not new for the coach, who has always had excellent relationships with some former Giallorossi players.
