Liverpool have won each of their last five meetings with Leicester City, seeking to win six in a row for the first time in the 130-year history of this fixture.
Could Easter Sunday be the day Liverpool are crowned champions? Last weekend, on a very nervy afternoon at Anfield, the Reds appeared to have thrown away two points at home to West Ham, Andy Robertson scoring a late own goal, only for Virgil van Dijk's towering header to snatch victory. So, with only six games to go, Arne Slot's side are a huge 13 points clear at the top, and they will clinch the title with victory at the King Power, if Arsenal are beaten at Portman Road earlier in the day.
Well, a Liverpool victory is extremely likely, considering Leicester City's form. Although, last weekend, the Foxes did to end both their eight-game losing streak and their eight game failing to score streak by holding Brighton to a 2-2 draw at the Amex; Stephy Mavididi and then Caleb Okoli both equalising by the South Coast. Nevertheless, Ruud van Nistelrooy's side will be relegated with defeat, if both West Ham and Wolves win elsewhere this weekend, which is very plausable. Leicester have not even scored in front of their own fans since 8 December, that's eight games and counting, so facing the champions-elect on, potentially, coronation Easter Sunday certainly isn't ideal.
Ruud van Nistelrooy, belatedly, made some changes to his lineup last weekend, recalling Kasey McAteer and scorer Stephy Mavididi, so he'll need to resist the temptation of reverting back to a defensive, back five. Harry Souttar and Abdul Fatawu are sidelined long-term, while Harry Winks is in exile following a falling out with the manager.
Leicester City predicted lineup vs Liverpool: (5-2-2-1): Hermansen; Justin, Coady, Okoli, Thomas; Ndidi, Soumaré, El Khannouss, McAteer, Mavididi; Vardy.
Jamie Vardy has eight goals to his name this season, previously netted on ten occasions against Liverpool, so is certainly their most-likely hope of ending this barren scoring run.
Arne Slot remains without Trent Alexander-Arnold, so only just fit again Conor Bradley will continue at right-back. Elsewhere, Curtis Jones got the nod over Dominik Szoboszlai in midfield against West Ham, while Alisson returned for the first time since suffering a concussion on international duty.
Liverpool predicted lineup vs Leicester City: (4-3-3): Alisson; Bradley, Konaté, van Dijk, Robertson; Gravenberch, Mac Allister, Szoboszlai; Salah, Luis Díaz, Jota.
Despite having scored 32 goals this season, Mohamed Salah is currently without a goal in five, but the Egyptian has previously netted five times against Leicester, one of which came in the reverse fixture on Boxing Day.
Once again, we're expecting Leicester to lose and not score, because that's just they do, with an extremely comfortable Liverpool victory forecast on Easter Sunday: Leicester City 0-3 Liverpool.
