Paris Saint-Germain manager Luis Enrique has insisted his side will not do any extra work to prepare for Arsenal's set-piece threat in their upcoming Champions League semi-final.

Arsenal, inspired by set-piece coach Nicolas Jover, have built a reputation as a major threat from dead-balls, racking up countless goals from corners earlier in the season and recently stealing the headlines with two stunning free-kicks from Declan Rice in the quarter-final triumph over Real Madrid - goals which specifically went against Jover's orders.

Enrique, however, sees no benefit to leading extra training sessions to counter this threat ahead of next week's first leg, arguing the English side they have already faced - Liverpool and Aston Villa - are arguably even more dangerous from set-pieces.

"We will prepare in the same way as we did against Liverpool," Enrique said. "Liverpool are a team that has at least as much potential as Arsenal, if not more. Aston Villa also had great potential in this area, as do the majority of Ligue 1 teams.

"We will not prepare our team based on this aspect of the game in particular. But it is obvious that we must be competitive everywhere."

Enrique even went one step further and argued it is Arsenal who should be worried about PSG's set-piece threat.

"Throughout this season, and the previous one, we've constantly changed our attacking set pieces," he continued.

"We use them depending on what seems appropriate to us: direct corners, short corners, indirect corners... it depends on the opponent. We have scored goals in this area and I consider our level to be very good."

PSG will head to the Emirates on Tuesday for the first leg of the semi-final tie keen to avenge their performance during their last trip to England. Aston Villa emerged with a 3-2 victory in the second leg of the quarter-final and came agonisingly close to a result which would have overturned the deficit from their first meeting.

The French giants did beat Liverpool 1-0 at Anfield in the previous round and then advanced courtesy of a penalty shoot-out.
