Reports in the UK suggest that Milan are among the clubs interested in a potential deal for Manchester City talent James McAtee during the summer transfer window.
According to reports from The Telegraph and Metro, Manchester City could look to sell McAtee during the summer transfer window in order to make way for new additions, with Bayer Leverkusen’s Florian Wirtz and Nottingham Forest’s Morgan Gibbs-White among the potential options.
If McAtee is to be sold during the next transfer window, there will reportedly be a queue of Premier League clubs interested in striking a deal: Manchester United, Forest and Newcastle United among them. However, Thursday’s reports claim that Milan are also among the interested parties.

The 22-year-old attacking midfielder, who has been on City’s books since the age of 10, will be entering the final year of his contract during the summer transfer window, and is understood to be looking for more consistent playing time than what he currently gets in Manchester.
While a Manchester City youth graduate, the majority of McAtee’s experience at senior level has come at Sheffield United.
He joined the Sheffield United on an initial season-long loan deal in the Championship, where he scored nine goals and registered three assists, before signing for the Blades again for their Premier League campaign the following year, where he claimed three goals and three assists.
McAtee currently has three Premier League goals, one in the Champions League and four in the FA Cup to his name in 2024-25.
