Paris Saint-Germain’s decision to part ways with Randal Kolo Muani opened the door for the club to bring in a new No. 9 alongside Goncalo Ramos this summer.

One potential target was Juventus forward Dusan Vlahovic. According to CaughtOffside, PSG planned to discuss his future in February, with the Serbian striker valued at around €65 million and yet to sign a new contract.

Arsenal and Manchester United were already in the mix, and PSG had also entered the race. However, Arsenal might have looked to gain an advantage over the competition.

Another Premier League suitor enters race for Dusan Vlahovic

Newcastle are reportedly interested in signing Dusan Vlahovic as a potential replacement for Alexander Isak, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.

TEAMtalk also noted on Tuesday, citing sources, that Aston Villa, Manchester United, Tottenham, Bayern Munich, and Barcelona are monitoring Vlahovic’s situation.

However, Barcelona’s ability to secure Vlahovic could hinge on how much they can raise from player sales, despite their desire to find a long-term replacement for Robert Lewandowski.

Juventus are said to be seeking around €40 million (£33.5 million) for Vlahovic, with several Premier League clubs showing interest.
