Whenever people think of Roma, Francesco Totti is often not far behind.
A Romanista both man and boy, the homegrown hero made his debut exactly 32 years ago in a 2-0 win over Brescia which had a slight helping hand from the bench.
Totti featured for just three minutes at the Stadio Mario Rigamonti, with Siniša Mihajlović reportedly telling manager Vujadin Boškov he needed to "put the kid in".
The late Giallorossi coach's willingness to listen to his player set the wheels in motion for Totti to spawn a playing legacy which would last an incredible 24 years.
Roma went on to clinch a long-awaited Scudetto as well as two Coppa Italia titles before the one-club man finally hung up his boots at the end of the 2016/17 season.
And it all started on that day in Lombardy.
