Sevilla are set to be without a key member of the club’s midfield setup for their upcoming meeting with Osasuna.

This comes owing to developments in the Nervionenses’ most recent outing, on Sunday.

Under the watch of new head coach Joaquín Caparrós, Sevilla yesterday played host to Deportivo Alavés, in a crunch La Liga clash.

When all was said and done, the two sides were forced to settle for a share of the spoils, by way of a 1-1 draw.

And though as much was enough to bring to an end an alarming four-match loss streak on the part of the day’s hosts, Sevilla were along the way dealt a blow on the personnel front.

This came upon Nemanja Gudelj being shown a yellow card.

His fifth of the La Liga campaign, as much means that the Serbian is facing up to a one-game suspension in Spain’s top-flight.

This will be served on Thursday night, when Gudelj will play no part in his side’s trip to El Sadar, to face Osasuna.
