An exclusive report has claimed that striker Liam Delap prefers a move to Chelsea and he has doubts over moving to Manchester United.

The news comes off the back of Chelsea only managing to draw 2-2 at home with Ipswich Town on Sunday, a team who are destined to be in the Championship again next season.

One BBC pundit has pinned the blame on the players for the draw on Sunday, saying that they have to take a long hard look at themselves after that poor performance.

And head coach Enzo Maresca has also picked out two of his players for making some mistakes in the game which he believes was not good enough and cost them.

Overall though it was so poor, and blame really must be shared between the head coach, the manager, and those who have built an unbalanced squad at Chelsea that severely lacks quality experience and balance.

We all know that Chelsea are now set for another busy summer in the transfer market with a host of new positions they are looking at signing in once again despite already having spent so much money on their squad in the last three years.

The heaviest reported Chelsea transfer target is Ipswich Town striker Liam Delap, but The Blues face competition to sign him.

Both Manchester United and Arsenal are named as two other interested clubs to sign Delap this summer, but there will be more.

However, an exclusive report by The Daily Star this week claims that Delap could snub a summer move to Manchester United this summer.

But despite making it clear to Delap that United want him, the 22-year-old is said to be having doubts about joining the club. The report goes on to say that Delap wants to join a club playing in Europe, with Chelsea or Arsenal being his preferred destination.
