Arsenal have been handed a massive blow after Gabriel Martinelli was forced off with an injury ten minutes before the interval.
Already 1-0 down on the night and 3-0 down on aggregate, the Brazilian went down inside the Newcastle box clutching his hamstring, and was immediately replaced by Ethan Nwaneri.

It comes with Bukayo Saka already sidelined for the forseeable future, and Gabriel Jesus missing the remainder of the campaign with a knee injury.
It also comes 48 hours after the winter transfer window closed, a window in which Arsenal tried and failed to sign a new forward.
Now, that looks set to come back to bite them.
