A member of the midfield ranks at La Liga giants Barcelona has made his way onto the transfer radar of Bournemouth.

That’s according to Diario Sport, who point towards Pablo Torre as the player in question.

Youngster Torre has for his part found game-time largely difficult to come by in Catalunya’s capital across the season to date.

Owing to the stiff competition in Hansi Flick’s attacking midfield ranks, the 21-year-old has been afforded a grand total of just 373 minutes of competitive action across all competitions.

And yet, when he has been afforded the chance to impress, Torre has managed precisely that, boasting four goals and three assists in 12 appearances.

Eager to see what kind of production the Spaniard could conjure up in more regular minutes, the aforementioned Bournemouth, in turn, have begun sniffing around his signature.

As per Sport, the Premier League surprise package would be keen to bring Torre in on loan for the 2nd half of the term, with an option to buy in the summer.

Cherries boss Andoni Iraola is understood to be a big fan of his fellow countryman’s game.

Torre himself, however, remains focused on matters in Catalunya, ready to stay put to fight for his place in Barcelona’s midfield over the months ahead.
