In the final fixture of Serie A matchday 23, Cagliari will host Lazio at the Sardegna Stadium. The contest kicks off on Monday at 20:45 local time.
Davide Nicola will miss the services of speedy attacker Zito Luvumbo, but should have a full squad at his disposal otherwise. Roberto Piccoli will spearhead the Isolani’s charge, supported by Nadir Zortea, Gianluca Getano and Mattia Felici. In the double pivot, Michel Adopo should link up with Antoine Makoumbou.
Elia Caprile will start in goal behind Gabriele Zappa, Yerry Mina, Sebastiano Luperto and Adam Obert.
Cagliari (4-2-3-1): Caprile; Zappa, Mina, Luperto, Obert; Makoumbou, Adopo; Zortea, Gaetano, Felici; Piccoli.
Marco Baroni will be without the injured Nuno Tavares, Patric, Matias Vecino and Manuel Lazzari. On the other hand, Matteo Guendouzi and Mattia Zaccagni are expected to overcome bouts with flu to maintain their regular starting spots. The Frenchman should start in the middle of the park alongside Nicolo Rovella.
Taty Castellanos will lead the line once more, with Boulaye Dia expected to start behind him and Gustav Isaksen on the right wing. At the back, Elseid Hysaj is vying for a starting spot with Luca Pellegrini, while Adam Marusic will be ready to fill in either on the right or left side of the backline depending on the choice. Alessio Romangnoli and Mario Gila should form the centre-back partnership.
Lazio (4-2-3-1): Provedel; Hysaj, Gila, Romagnoli, Marusic; Guendouzi, Rovella; Isaksen, Dia, Zaccagni; Castellanos
