Chelsea host Leicester City in the Premier League this afternoon aiming to reclaim their place in the top four.
Enzo Maresca’s side will move above Manchester City and into fourth if they avoid defeat to the struggling Foxes, following defeat for the Premier League champions at Nottingham Forest.

For Maresca, it’s a reunion with the side that he guided to promotion last season. Leicester have struggled since the Italian’s exit, however, with the Foxes 19th in the table. Currently six points from safety, Leicester have lost 11 of their last 12 Premier League games.
Filip Jorgensen is set to return in goal after Robert Sanchez started Thursday’s 2-1 win at FC Copenhagen in the Europa Conference League.
Malo Gusto looks set to shake off a knock to feature, while Romeo Lavia has returned to first-team training in a boost to the Blues. However, Maresca will take a cautious approach with the 21-year-old after two injury-plagued seasons at Stamford Bridge.
The West Londoners remain without Noni Madueke, Marc Guiu and Nicolas Jackson, though the trio could return after the international break.
Chelsea predicted XI: Jorgensen; Gusto, Tosin, Colwill, Cucurella; Caicedo, Fernandez; Neto, Palmer, Sancho; Nkunku
Chelsea host Leicester in the Premier League on Sunday 9th March 2025. Kick-off at Stamford Bridge is 14:00 GMT.
